What We Do

At IAVGO, we are dedicated to delivering justice and compensation for injured workers in Ontario. For 50 years, we’ve provided free legal services to low-income individuals facing the challenges of workplace injuries.

Our Mission

IAVGO strives to deliver justice and compensation for injured workers; uphold and improve injured worker laws; be a centre of expertise within the injured worker system; build awareness for and share knowledge of the issues facing precarious injured workers within the legal community and general public; and improve the level of injured worker representation and advocacy.

Our mission encompasses not only direct representation but also community development, public legal education, and advocacy for systemic change. We address the root causes of legal issues, empowering vulnerable workers and their families with the knowledge and support they need. With a focus on building awareness and improving laws for precarious and migrant workers, IAVGO strives to create positive outcomes for those who need it most.

“You made your clients present at the hearing, even though they are so far away. You named injustice.”
